WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Analyst in our Milwaukee WI, Chicago IL, or Green Bay, WI location. This will be a hybrid position.

This position is part of a job family(Associate Analyst, Analyst, Senior Analyst, Lead Analyst), where experience will be the determining factor.

Job Responsibilities

This position supports the Regulatory Planning and Accounting function within WEC Energy Group.

Regulatory Planning

  • Maintain and enhance UIPlanner Regulatory model
  • Gather information from other areas within the company, mainly Other Finance Departments and Regulatory Affairs needed to populate rate case scenarios in the UI Planner Regulatory model.
  • Load gathered information and system transferred data in UIPlanner Regulatory model.
  • Troubleshoot modelling and reporting errors.
  • Modify existing reports and calculations as needed to reflect changes in requirements and / or assumptions

Rate Case Support

  • Assist in preparation, communication, and tracking of rate case schedule with cross departmental team
  • Assist Business Unit finance in rate case schedule, testimony and data request preparation
  • Prepare responses to rate case data requests
  • Track and model proposed adjustments from Commission Staff and Rate Case Intervenors

General Job Responsibilities

  • Other analysis and/or tasks as assigned.
  • Position will be expected to apply knowledge of interrelationships in processes and utilize problem solving skills to recommend process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline is required
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 Year's Experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Ability to learn and grasp new concepts quickly
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable providing analysis and presenting to various members of Management
  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a multi-locational team
  • Attention to detail, a strong initiative, and a results-orientation are critical
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is essential
  • UI Planner Experience is a plus
  • SAP Experience is a plus

End Date: 02/11/2025

Pay Range Minimum: $58,172.14

Pay Range Maximum: $132,708.94

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
