A Project Controller opportunity located in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with benefits. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling project schedule and cost for Major Type Design Changes (MTDH), Advanced Repair Development and Cost-out projects in Services Engineering. This role will play a crucial role in the success of projects by managing project schedule, project cost and resources effectively, resolving issues, and achieving project goals.
This Candidate will:
Service Description
1. Work closely with engineering project leadership, deliverable owners including engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, test, assembly, instrumentation, and services to understand the requirements, properly breakdown the work, and develop resource and cost loaded integrated plan.
2. Lead the development of initial program baselines, program re-baselines and complaint baseline change management. They will ensure that cost and schedule integration are aligned to scope and contract requirements.
3. Facilitate project daily management to ensure progress against plan, identification and escalation of risks and issues.
4. Facilitate Project Risk Management (threats and opportunities) through risk identification, prioritization, Risk Response planning and monitoring and controlling of risks.
5. Consolidate and validate project metrics and project performance KPIs such as Variance to Plan (VTP), On Time Delivery (OTD), Budget at Completion (BAC), Estimate at Completion (EAC), etc. Provide input to project operating cadence for leadership.
6. Actively support project performance issue identification, root cause, impact analysis and recommend corrective actions.
7. Partner with Operations and Finance to ensure alignment with business priorities.
8. Support rollout of Project Portfolio Management tool across Services Engineering
9. Support Commercial Engineering PMO"s 2025 goals by using published Project Management Standards and toolkit and support lean initiatives such as Flight Deck problem solving tools, daily management, operating cadence, action plans, value stream analysis, etc.
Job Duties:
*Prior experience in leading NPI projects in product development companies, strong organization skills and working with cross functional stakeholders.
*Day to day oversight from their team leader to ensure that the team is getting trained on processes, tools and standards and getting integrated and performing well in the assigned scope of work
*Close engagement with the Commercial Engineering PM Pillar leader, during onboarding and ongoing training as well as for tracking performance.
Required Qualifications
-BS in Engineering or equivalent
- Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $65,000 to $115,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
