The Home for Little Wanderer's Wediko NY program is hiring a Temp Bilingual Senior Advocate Counselor. The Senior Advocate Counselor will work at the High School for Hospitality Management in Manhattan, focusing on supporting students who may be struggling academically, behaviorally, and exhibiting issues of trauma and loss due to their status as recent arrivals to the United States. The Senior Advocate Counselor provides supportive mentoring services, including attendance outreach and individual and small group social-emotional support in partnership with the school staff to support students in reaching their academic and social emotional goals. Salary: $25-27/hour The Senior Advocate Counselor position is a temporary position (March - June), 16 hours per week, and will be supervised by the Site Manager.
