An Advanced Systems Engineer job is available with our client in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for defining, developing and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Responsible for defining, developing and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system.
*Understand DOD domain/programs well.
*Demonstrate capability to think at a Systems Level and has a growth mindset.
*Systems Engineer skills on a complex software system.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor"s Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
*A systems engineer with a strong software background and has experience on large solution programs which includes both Hardware and Software.
*Success leading the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools.
*Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions.
*Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions.
*Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success.
