JOB DESCRIPTION

You'll be at the heart of innovation, shaping marketing strategies that make a difference! In this pivotal role, you'll create and execute dynamic marketing plans for the individual and family dental insurance segment, driving growth while expanding access to care. As a Marketing Specialist, you'll spearhead impactful initiatives-from crafting compelling broker channel communications and designing engaging direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns to fostering member loyalty and launching exciting new products. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages segment and marketing program plans to support company efforts to increase new sales and retention.
  • Manages marketing and communication efforts aimed at customers, brokers and enrollees.
  • Works with Creative Services, Marketing, Product Strategy, Legal/Compliance and/or outside agencies to update and/or develop marketing assets, collateral and enrollee documents as needed.
  • Responsible for maintenance of marketing collateral and enrollee documents.
  • Collaborates with internal cross-functional partners including Underwriting, Actuarial, Sales, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Technology; and external partners including customers, distribution partners, advertising agencies and print, mail house and fulfillment vendors.
  • Develops program specific tracking information and analyzes results.
  • Supports the development of strategic plans by compiling and analyzing internal and/or external data.
  • Researches, resolves or compiles information to support customer service and partner requests.
  • Coordinates training and communications with internal and external cross-functional partners to ensure seamless program updates and roll out to field.
  • Monitors and reports to management on performance and ROI of marketing programs to ensure that they meet program and financial objectives and presents recommendations for improvements.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferably 4 years of experience in a corporate marketing department or marketing agency.
  • Proven track record in leading or assisting with the development and execution of marketing strategies, including direct marketing, channel sales, digital marketing, and online presence enhancement.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in composition, editing, and proofreading.
  • Skilled at simplifying and presenting complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly effective communicator and creative thinker, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to changing environments, and navigate through ambiguity.
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written communication, including public speaking and presentations.
  • Familiarity with computer software, including Adobe Suite and various publishing platforms.
  • Experience in the healthcare or dental industry is highly desirable.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.

Pay Grade 18. $55,000 - $116,900
