Work Schedule:

90% FTE, day shift. Primarily 1st shift with varied start times from 7-8:30AM. Call and holiday rotations required. This position will work at multiple locations. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Ultrasonographer Lead to:



  • Coordinate patient scheduling and daily work assignments.
  • Serve as an expert resource to other ultrasonographers.
  • Suggest changes in procedures, policies, and quality improvement.
  • Coordinate training and development of the Imaging Specialists.
  • Identify cost savings and assure that technical operations stay within the targeted budget.
  • Perform ultrasound imaging such as pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations. You may also perform more complex imaging such as deep Doppler and guided interventional procedures such as biopsies and ablations as well as musculoskeletal ultrasound.



Qualifications

  • Graduate of a School of Ultrasonography Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2 years of relevant clinical experience Required
  • 3 years of relevant clinical experience Preferred
  • 1 year of clinical experience in a leadership role. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in a minimum of two concentrations: Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Upon Hire Required
  • RVT credential, if not already acquired, or Minimum Qualifications Substitute (MQS) if in OBGYN department within 30 months Required
  • CPR certification within 3 months Required
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT Preferred
