Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) Manager
The CIAM Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CIAM solutions to ensure secure and seamless member experiences across our digital platforms. The CIAM Manager will work with internal stakeholders and vendor partners responsible for managing user identities, access controls, and authentication processes. The CIAM Manager will play an integral role in mitigating identity security and access risks, ensuring compliance and implementing efficient access governance for the enterprise. The CIAM Manager will have a strong background in customer identity and access management, digital banking platforms, cybersecurity, and project management, with a focus on delivering solutions that meet business objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Position Responsibilities: CIAM Strategy & Oversight
- Develop and deliver tailored Customer Identity & Access Management solutions aligned to the enterprises' digital transformation strategy.
- Manage operations for clients' needs across multiple security domains.
- Solution and develop customer focused security offerings to secure identities, data, and privacy, focusing on the security experience across multiple digital channels (i.e. mobile, web, ATM, etc.).
- Apply business and application knowledge towards building self-service tools that increase productivity and decrease process execution time.
- Develop and maintain Enterprise Security client relationships, ensure client satisfaction, expand existing Enterprise Security engagements.
- Communicate to clients and partners aspects of both the product and implementation at the technical and functional level appropriate for the situation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement appropriate, scalable CIAM solutions.
- Foster close collaboration with application owners and teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Stay up to date on CIAM innovations and industry trends as well as changes to internal systems and determine how they impact tools, training, and support necessary to keep systems up, running, and secure.
Operational & Risk Control
- Identify and evaluate business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement to reduce cyber threats and other technology risks.
- Guide maintenance, upgrades, and support for existing systems and infrastructure to ensure operational stability.
- Document configurations, processes and procedures for effective maintenance and future reference.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues proactively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues and incidents.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of CIAM systems, implementing appropriate measures to protect sensitive information and prevent disruptions.
- Provide technology recommendations to provide cost-effective solutions that meet business and technology requirements.
- Assist in the development of CIAM engineering policies, procedures, and standards that are in line with industry standards.
- Ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.
Leadership
- Serves as team leader and mentor, defining and driving goals and performance for CIAM Engineers.
- Mentor and guide CIAM Engineers and perform knowledge transfer to other teams as required.
- Manage and develop team cultivating a spirit of one team with shared goals and objectives.
- Select, motivate, and retain high performing talent.
- Provide on-going feedback to maximize overall performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or other relevant technology or cybersecurity degrees -OR- equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology or cybersecurity experience -OR- 12 years of technology and/or cybersecurity experience
- 6 years of CIAM experience working with large Enterprise customers including experience integrating CIAM solutions with various applications and systems
- 6 years of experience evaluating customer needs and delivering solutions that enhance user experience while maintaining security and compliance standards
- 4 years of experience managing or influencing others to achieve desired results; direct team management preferred
- 4 years of Project Management Skills experience leading CIAM implementation projects from initiation to completion
- 3 years of experience with security best practices, privacy regulations (such as GDPR, CCPA), and compliance requirements related to customer data protection, with the ability to ensure CIAM solutions meet regulatory standards
Licenses/Certifications:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) preferred
- CIAM (Certified Identity and Access Manager) preferred
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
