Harley-Davidson Motor Company is headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, where the first H-D factory was built in 1903 - a wooden shed in the backyard of the Davidson's family home. Our onsite and hybrid Milwaukee area employees work out of the Harley-Davidson Product Development Center located just outside of the city - in Wauwatosa. Job Summary

The compensation analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating global compensation programs across the organization.

They will work closely with HR business partners and program designers to analyze the impact of a wide range of compensation options. The compensation analyst will research current global market practices, measure the effectiveness of existing plans, and evaluate current and future opportunities.

Role and responsibilities



  • Oversee job codes and job titles by partnering with Field HR
  • Support the annual compensation planning process (merit salary increases, promotions, bonuses, and long-term incentive awards)
  • Assists on various special assignments and projects, as requested, relating to compensation program administration and/or providing information for management and/or Field HR use
  • Review incoming job descriptions for consistency and adherence to guidelines
  • Reviews proposed salary structure adjustments globally, for conformance to established guidelines, policies, and practices
  • Keeps apprised of federal, state and local labor and global compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance
  • Provide support on administering short- and long-term incentives, including equity compensation
  • Administer the annual compensation survey submission process, may participate in Ad-hoc surveys
  • Assist in developing compensation plans and plan documents
  • Advises HR Business Partners on compensation actions for associates using established structures and guidelines



Education:



  • HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business or other related field Preferred



Experience Requirements:

Required



  • 3-5 years' experience in HR, total rewards or other analytical or related discipline
  • Experience with compensation structures; and bonus and equity incentive programs in a publicly traded company
  • Prior experience as international/global stock/equity plan administrator or in a similar role, preferably within a global, publicly traded company.
  • Attention to detail and follow-up; deadline oriented; very strong ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent documentation skills when developing compensation structures


Preferred:



  • Sales compensation experience preferred

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
