Marketing Proposal Resources and Data Management Internship

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking up to two dynamic, creative Interns ("Marketing Proposal Resources and Data Management Internship") to support our national marketing team. It is expected that the interns will work 40 hours per week but there may be opportunities for overtime pay to meet deadlines. The position will be based out our Broomfield, CO office but highly qualified candidates will be considered for remote (= distributed) work environments. The individual selected for this internship must be highly organized, able to multi-task, deadline driven, and comfortable with data. In addition, the individual must be a fast learner, able to work with virtual teams, and have a passion for environmental services and sustainability.

This internship will occur during summer 2025 (approximately June 2-August 15). Earlier start dates or later end dates will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are encouraged.

This is a paid, 40-hour per week internship. An intern based in Denver, CO will be paid $18.90 per hour. The position can be fully office based or be hybrid (come into the office 2-3 days per week).

Your portfolio will include some or all the following items:

Assistance with Proposal Resources

• Resume management and upkeep
• Proposal knowledge management (e.g., proposal Sharepoint site creation, maintenance and archiving; overall systems updating)
• Digital asset management (e.g., photos)
• Proposal boilerplate library organization

Marketing Data Management

• Data quality assurance and quality control within our Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool; includes data entry and assistance with clean-up efforts within the clients, contacts, opportunities, and employees areas of a relational database
• Support marketing, business development and/or proposal data and reporting requests, potentially including creating simple Excel tables and spreadsheets

Overall Marketing Support

• Learn industry specific marketing, proposal, and CRM tracking techniques and best practices necessary for professional growth
• Conduct research projects that will provide valuable insights into market trends, competition, and client needs
• May help coordinate business development meetings, conferences, and association meetings

• Major in Marketing or closely related field preferred.
• Current enrollment in a community college, college, or university, pursuing a certificate of proficiency, Associates degree, or a Bachelor's degree. Individuals who completed a bachelor's degree within 12 months of May 1, 2024, will also be considered.
• Applicants that are pursuing a master's degree will also be considered. Ph.D. candidates are not eligible through this program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong Excel skills helpful.
• Experience with Sharepoint software helpful.
