Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Analyst to provide programmatic management support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC! You will assist Team Sub in the Navy Torpedo Enterprise. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and help provide the US Navy with cutting edge undersea warfare technology. You will provide direct support to the Team Submarine's Undersea Weapons Program Office (PMS 404).

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and energetically in researching various Acquisition Topics and Documentation, DOD 5000, Other Transaction Authority acquisitions, and Milestone Requirements for various ACAT I, ACAT II, and ACAT III programs.
  • Work across PEO Staff and Program Office Branches; evaluate procurement profiles, summarize relevant information, and brief government client. Apply understanding of agencies' mission, organizational interrelationships and priorities and consider the resource implications of decisions.
  • Evaluate and implement business process improvements to promote agency efficiency and effectiveness.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering or other technical discipline (or commensurate experience).
  • Minimum 10 years' experience supporting a program or project team responsible for projects in various stages of Acquisition.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Contract Management, PPBE Process, execution of various types of contracts and Financial Management.
  • Knowledge and experience with Navy SBIR Contract Data Calls.
  • Understanding database management tools to track program execution status, contract execution status, and contract deliveries. ?
  • Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills, including project plans, white papers, proposals, and formal presentations.
  • Minimum of 10 years professional U.S. federal acquisition-related experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance.


Desired Education and Experience:

  • Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience is a significant plus.
  • Experience interacting with Navy senior executive and flag leadership highly desired.


Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. Telework options for 1-2 days per week possible, but subject to client direction and guidance.

Travel: Yes - up to 10%.
