Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

$20 - $24.05/hourly

Summary:

The Shipping Coordinator is crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods within our leading packaging and automation equipment organization. This position is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, managing logistics schedules, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The Shipping Coordinator works closely with warehouse teams, carriers, and internal departments to optimize shipping operations, minimize delays, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate pickups for all inbound carriers and drivers
  • Process RMAs from customers
  • Receive and deliver daily inbound small package deliveries
  • Schedule outbound shipping for all LTL and full truck shipments for equipment
  • Utilize WMS (warehouse management system) to record shipping transactions
  • Update KPI metrics for warehouse team
  • Assist other warehouse teams as needed depending on staffing (includes receiving, pick/pack, crating and cycle counting
  • Provide escorted access on Signode premises for all visitors
Qualifications

Education:

High school Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 2 plus years of experience as a Shipping Coordinator.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and ISO requirements a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with WMS (warehouse management system), inventory management software (ERP/MRP), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and inventory control best practices.
