As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact in creating a memorable guest experience with your warm smile and friendly service. By understanding each guest's unique needs, you will ensure a seamless and positive transaction, leaving a lasting impression that extends beyond their visit. THE STARTING RATE:$14.34
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Accurately take and place orders, efficiently serve food and beverages, and garnish items as needed. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and follow all proper cash handling and comp procedures. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including front and back of house areas, by clearing tables, wiping counters, and sweeping the dining area while ensuring guest comfort. Carefully pack and complete orders according to guest preferences, including providing necessary condiments. Properly label and date all products in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines. Perform assigned opening and closing duties based on shift requirements. Receive, unload, and organize warehouse deliveries, restock designated storage areas, and ensure workstations, counters, and tables remain stocked and organized.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Can become familiar with menu items, including the preparation and serving of beverages, standard beverage recipes, garnishes, glassware, and equipment. Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, such as toasters, refrigerators, slicers, and beverage machines. Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Basic computer skills with experience using various Point of Sale (POS) systems. One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting.
