Position Title: CNC Lathe Set Up
Wage: $18.00 - $28.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for CNC Lathe Set Up at a company in Germantown, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! CNC Lathe Set Up Responsibilities: - Set up, program and operate Haas Mills, Knee Mills and other equipment - Machine complex, high tolerance parts and components from blueprints and models - Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, gage blocks, micrometers and dial calipers - Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes and tolerances based on specifications Requirements for CNC Lathe Set Up: - 3+ years of machining experience - Able to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids - Good verbal and written communication skills - Excellent attendance and a positive, "can do" attitude - Solidworks and/or MasterCAM experience is a plus - EDM experience is a plus - Previous tool room experience is a plus QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
