Senior Associate, Construction Consulting (New York, NY) (multiple positions). Develop detailed engineering analyses related to project schedules, cost records, and productivity impacts for construction claims and disputes utilizing Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6 for scheduling, and the eDiscovery tools, Relativity and DISCO. Provide construction project advisory services, and collaborating closely with clients to ensure project execution while mitigating budget and schedule risks. Assist in budgeting and tracking the client's expenses to enhance budget variance and increase visibility of spending. Develop written reports and client-ready presentations for review by senior management. Network with industry associations and professionals by participating in conferences and meetings.

• Requires a Master's degree or the foreign equivalent in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related position in the construction consulting field
• 2 years of experience in developing and updating schedules using Primavera P6
• 2 years utilizing Bluebeam for quantity take-offs for monthly billings, budget tracking and change orders
• 2 years managing construction project budgets through invoicing and understanding of construction financial reports
• 2 years drafting and submitting Requests for Information ("RFI"), submittals, Requests for Change ("RFC"), and technical reports, for construction projects adhering to state, county and contract specifications
• 2 years conducting site supervision and construction management using PlanGrid

Our consultants are rewarded for their technical and business contributions and have an opportunity to plan for future success and career growth. Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Associate and Senior Associate level, total compensation includes base salary, bi-weekly bonuses for high-intensity efforts, annual bonus and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.
