Financial Data Analyst
We're seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our FMR Data & Analytics team. As a data expert, you'll play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting financial data to inform strategic decision-making, and designing and implementing data solutions that drive efficiency, data integrity, and informed decision-making. The majority of your work will be focused on supporting the accounting teams, with a strong emphasis on financial data analysis, reporting, and planning. The Data Analyst will also play a significant role in supporting finance power BI dashboards which are essential for understanding key financial metrics and form the foundation for management data and decision making. The Opportunity Future focused and always one step ahead The Financial Data Analyst supports Munich Re's US Property and Casualty (P&C) Finance operations by developing and maintaining financial data models, reports, and dashboards in Power BI. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to various projects across Financial Management and Reporting (FMR), with a focus on accounting topics, and work on automation initiatives and other data analytics projects to drive process efficiency and business insights. The Company is open to considering candidates in New Jersey and in New York, NY. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's NYC location only. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $113,000 - $160,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in NYC only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
