What you will do

This position is responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies in support of the company's growth and profitability objectives. The position supports a group of internal & external customers serving as a primary point of contact for pricing support, standardization and exceptions.

How you will do it

  • Assists in determining appropriate list prices and standard discounts.

  • Reviews daily invoicing identifying and correcting low margin orders.

  • IPA (Internal Price Adjustment) maintenance and support.

  • Develop regional pricing books and pricing programs supporting regional Sales Managers.

  • Research and resolve sales & customer inquiries relative to customer pricing and invoicing.

  • Contributes to the overall sales effort by supporting regional sales manager's off-sheet pricing to meet competition while maintaining acceptable price levels.

  • Reviews pricing adjustment requests with Sales Managers and Account Managers before seeking Area Director approval.

  • Analyzes pricing data and key metrics to find opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through price strategies.

  • Provides pricing reports, sales & margin analysis for management. Other duties may be assigned.

  • A minimum of two years financial, business analytics or pricing experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.

  • Effective and professional communication and organization skills.

  • Proven spreadsheet development, math, problem-solving, and analysis skills.

  • Pays attention to accuracy and details.

  • Self-starter and self-led
