Manager, Launch & LCM Project Planning

As a high-profile cross-functional leader with accountability for value delivery, you will lead cross-functional launch project teams, facilitates the formation and execution of the commercial launch and life cycle transition project plans, escalate decisions/issue resolution to Executive Management for investment and/or intervention.

Your additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Launch excellence: Partners with Life Cycle Management Team, Business Area Leaders, Market Access, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Regulatory, STO/ESO organization, and all relevant functions to develop comprehensive project plans/risk mitigation plan and guide the team through launch plan execution.
  • Project management: Leads cross-functional launch execution process for life cycle management project execution across the organization from planning to commercial execution including NDC changes, DSCSA requirements affecting product changes, site transfers, and line extensions.
  • Leads continuous improvement activities for launch processes to accelerate organizational operational and commercial launch success and maximize revenue and market share targets an ongoing basis.
  • Actively manages and reports project status, action plans and changes to revenue targets across the organization including to senior management and global teams as needed
  • Internal expert on Launch Management and execution related topics for the department
  • Capability building: Makes significant contributions to Launch management processes and content over time to bring acceleration to launches, simplification of processes, overachieve on revenue where possible, creates new concepts incl. operational excellence driver

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Launch project management: Delivery on commercial and life cycle launch strategies, plan on time and right quantities and overall revenue targets
  • Launch excellence: Continuously improve launch process and performance by sharing better practices and experiences across cross-functional Launch Management Team

What you'll bring to the role:

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in pharmaceutical commercial projects/operations (process, analytics, project management) in a fast-paced, matrixed and complex multiproduct environment.
  • Specialized knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Pharmaceutical Launch Management (preferably with generics), Project Management, Commercial Operations, Market Access, Supply Chain Management and Management Consulting.
  • Strong experience in project management, project planning/execution, and risk management. Demonstrated success in managing challenging high-value projects.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional / cross-divisional teams.
  • Operations management and execution

Desirable (preferred):

  • MBA or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a healthcare company, including but not limited to generics, large or specialty pharmaceutical, medical device company is preferred. Prior experience in launching new products in either brand or generics setting is preferred.

This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. The company follows a hybrid work model that allows remote work in accordance with company policy and guidelines. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $119,700 and $222,300/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement.
