Overview of role: Deriva Energy is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated and talented intern for its corporate communications department. The Corporate Communications team is a cornerstone of the company's ability to achieve its strategic business plan, and this internship will offer a student an opportunity to gain on-the-job experience in a dynamic industry. This role will support both internal and external communications efforts across the company, with exposure to employee communications and campaigns, brand journalism, executive communications, community affairs, event planning, digital media and media relations. Deriva Energy is headquartered in Charlotte, NC. but its teammates are located all across North America. The Deriva Communications Team is located in Charlotte, N.C. and routinely meets in person.
