Description Do you want to work on beautiful Lake LBJ? We have full-time and part-time seasonal positions open now! JOB SUMMARY: Marina Dockhand is mainly responsible for the marina ship store rentals, day/gas dock and slips, jet dock, yacht club dock, watercraft valet service, safely idle-speed driving of watercraft in dock areas, assisting hut personnel and cleaning and maintaining water sport equipment, docks and slips; plus any other duties assigned by the Fleet Manager or Marina Manager. Dockhands are to greet, assist members/guests while maintaining a friendly disposition and accommodate and facilitate a high Horseshoe Bay Resort standard to maximize water craft rentals and retail sales while creating and accommodating the guests' lake experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Greet and assist members and guests Manage open and/or close procedures on a daily basis Maintain cleanliness and organization of all rental fleet, docks and slips Assist members with gas, may valet boat/watercraft to and from docks, but not on open water Maintain professional composure in high stress environment Assist hut personnel with wave runner duties including but not limited to wave runner launch and return, and gas and oil checks MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have current Boater's Safety Certification Minimum age requirement - 16yrs Must have current Driver's License and satisfactory motor vehicle report for insurance purposes Customer service experience required Computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, related inventory software ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Team oriented Basic math and reasoning skills Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills required Service oriented - able to accommodate and anticipate guests needs Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality Solution oriented Exceptional communication, organizational skills and detail oriented Flexible and accommodating attitude Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment Comply and adhere to all Horseshoe Bay Resort and marina policies and standard operating procedures (SOP's) Maintain a professional image with the proper uniform standard and maintaining personal hygiene Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
