SUMMARY The Process Engineer I is responsible for stabilizing manufacturing processes between machining and post-processing. The Process Engineer I will work under direct supervision to support process strategies and implementation, process optimization, and document maintenance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review customer blueprints, drawings, engineering plans, materials & customer specifications
- Create CAD models, shop floor drawings, fixtures, BOM's, routers, and any additional materials required for manufacturing
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes for existing and new products
- Support Engineering initiatives in analyzing the production process for repeatability and efficiency
- Drive internal continuous improvement efforts through strategic planning and effective evaluations of test data
- Utilize ERP/MRP system to define and control manufacturing processes
- Resolve any immediate production issues by participating in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings and determining appropriate solutions
- Contributes manufacturing knowledge to developing and executing process validation efforts (IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and both internal/external stakeholders
- Communicate statuses and updates with team for all assigned projects
- Takes initiative to develop SOP's and other supporting documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Advanced or working knowledge of GD&T
- Advanced or working knowledge of SolidWorks
- Willingness to work at a machine on the shop floor for an indeterminate period to gain additional machining knowledge if necessary
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to change
- Must have experience using MRP/ERP system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Work experience with cross-functional teams
- Work experience in process development and/or continuous improvement
- Experience with planning and executing projects
- Experience working with external stakeholders (preferred)
- Experience with fixture development and design (preferred)
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Required: Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field with 1+ years of experience*
- Preferred: Master's degree in an engineering-related field with 0-2 years of experience*
