What You Will Do * Execute welding, fitting, and fabrication operations on utilizing Stick /MIG /TIG equipment on various materials including carbon, stainless steel, and other exotic metals. * Support site throughput by sharing ideas and leading the implementation of initiatives to improve efficiency and grow our precision capabilities * Proactively identify and lead the implementation of improvement opportunities in our work backlog, processes, practices, shop tools, and procedures * Support estimating, planning, materials, scheduling, and customer communication processes * Work with our vendors to build strategic partnerships to create superior value. * Inspect damaged equipment or piping and develop weld scope * Estimate fabrication project resources and durations * Welding repairs on piping, structural, tanks, and vessels Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Proven Welding experience working in a manufacturing, industrial setting * Ability to read and understand isometric drawings and fabricate/fit/weld the job per Pipe Code * Experience operating shop equipment such as saws and hoists What Will Put You Ahead * 10+ years of industry-related Welding experience * Experience operating Waterjet cutting machines * Experience using a maintenance workflow/work order system or computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) such as SAP and Lean Kit * Proficiency in welding Titanium, Inconel, and Boiler tubes * Ability to field sketch jobs and execute fabrication * Experience maintaining qualifications as a code welder for piping, pressure vessels, and/or tanks Physical Requirements * Work schedule is subject to change with notification, depending upon business needs. Additionally, must be available to work scheduled (Planned) or unscheduled (unplanned/short-notice hours on nights and/or weekends, holidays as needed), to meet business needs * Required to wear any or all of the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, gloves, safety boots, and respirators. PPE use is in accordance with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for a given task * Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs * Ability to work in hot, cold, and inclement climate conditions * Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, ladders on vessels and columns, ladders associated with scaffolds This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
