UTS - Temporary Warehouse Associate at UNC Chapel Hill

This position supports the on-site warehouse management for the continuous operation of the Energy Services departments. Position supports the purchasing and inventory control of the warehouse items, as well as special orders. This position researches costs, obtains quotes and assists personnel with the procurement of components, spares and equipment. This position maintains detailed inventory records, receives, delivers, stores, issues, provides care of stockroom/warehouse supplies and notifies the supervisor of error or problems with processes and procedures. Position works with the Operations workgroup to reorder acid and caustic for water treatment. This position uses MAXIMO a computerized work management system, in particular, the purchasing and inventory modules. This position monitors inventory levels and researches just-in-time delivery as required for outage or emergency work orders.
