Title: Environmental Scientist (8 to 15 years experience) Location: Irvine, California Job Type: Regular, Full-time What's the Opportunity? Anchor QEA is seeking a full-time environmental scientist with 8 to 15 years of experience for an opening in our Irvine, California office. The successful candidate will have a natural affinity for science with a demonstrated capacity to grow, be detail-orientated and a committed team player, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. This position will support environmental science and engineering projects involving short and long-term monitoring programs for water, sediment, and biological resource quality, contaminated sediment and dredged material evaluations, and stormwater monitoring and source control investigations. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will initially support multiple principal and senior managing staff in executing projects, communicating with clients, and contributing to business development opportunities, with a goal of independently leading projects and client communications. The successful candidate will be required to maintain and coordinate multiple projects with competing schedules and resource requirements. Success will be measured through the candidate's contributions and commitment to quality and meeting internal project management and client-specified deadlines. The successful candidate will track and disseminate information associated with California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and various Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) policies and regulations.
