A Shipping Supervisor's job is to oversee a warehouse's day-to-day operations to ensure it runs safely and efficiently. This Individual is responsible for managing staff, equipment, logistics, and keeping goods flowing and stored properly. Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to maintain inventory levels that will assure uninterruptible delivery for our customer base and achieve optimum inventory investment. Managing staff:Hiring, training, and supervising warehouse staff Managing inventory:Achieve excellence in receiving, identifying, storing, dispatching and assuring quality of goods. Managing logistics:Overseeing the receiving shipping and delivery of materials, and communicating with carriers, suppliers, and others involved in the receiving and shipping processes Managing workflow:Assigning tasks to the team and regularly reviewing their performance Requirements and Skills Competencies
