Overview: Associate Principle Security Engineer

Position can be done Remote (Work from Home).

Primary Function Researches attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures Administers security policies to control physical and virtual system access Participates in the development of security policies Manages infrastructure related to security and related hardware and software to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity and supportability through production support and maintenance of existing network and development and implementation of multi-level security infrastructure enhancements All positions in this job family participate, to some degree, in the following activities: Production Support administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, enhancing and providing advanced customer support for the existing multi-level security infrastructure Deployment / Implementation planning and executing the implementation of new network designs or configurations or enhancements to the existing multi-level security infrastructure Design researching, recommending and designing new technologies, new configurations and enhancements to existing networks; providing consulting advice to customers on the capabilities of the multi-level security infrastructure environment

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Twelve (12) years of relevant technical or business work experience
  • Required Education: Bachelors degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
  • Other: Experience in complex technology environment

    General familiarity with common security guidelines

    such as: Vulnerability Management, Tenable experience, DAST experience, Manual Vulnerability testing, Penetration testing.
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CISM
