A Graphic Designer IV is a senior-level creative professional responsible for leading the design of visually compelling graphics and layouts across a range of media, including print, digital, and multimedia platforms. This role involves overseeing complex design projects, collaborating with marketing, branding, and content teams, and ensuring that all design work aligns with the company's brand identity and goals.

Graphic Designer IV Responsibilities Include:



  • Take the lead in designing and executing complex graphic design projects across various mediums (print, digital, multimedia, etc.).
  • Oversee the creative direction and concept development from initial idea to final design, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand identity.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, branding, content, and product development, to produce visually engaging and effective designs.
  • Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of marketing strategies.
  • Create high-quality, production-ready designs for advertisements, websites, social media, packaging, print materials, and other marketing collateral.
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards for technical specifications and are optimized for the appropriate medium.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior graphic designers, helping them develop their skills and improve their design work.
  • Review and approve design drafts submitted by junior designers, ensuring that all work aligns with the overall brand vision and quality standards.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all visual communications.
  • Update and refine brand assets and design templates as needed to stay current with trends and organizational changes.
  • Communicate directly with clients or internal stakeholders to understand design requirements, gather feedback, and present final concepts.
  • Make revisions to designs based on client or stakeholder feedback, ensuring satisfaction with the final output.
  • Continuously seek out new design trends, tools, and techniques to innovate and push creative boundaries.
  • Introduce fresh and engaging design concepts that help elevate the organization's visual presence and meet business goals.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prioritize tasks and coordinate with other departments to meet deadlines and project milestones.
  • Review and approve final designs for accuracy, quality, and consistency before production or publication.
  • Ensure that all materials are free of errors and align with the organization's standards for design excellence.
  • Organize and maintain design files, assets, and documentation for easy access and future reference.
  • Ensure proper file formatting and version control to streamline workflows and prevent errors.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned



Graphic Designer IV Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • At least 10 years of experience in graphic design, with a proven track record of working across various design disciplines, including digital, print, and multimedia design.
  • Extensive experience in managing and executing high-level design projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity, innovation, and technical expertise.
  • Proven ability to work with a variety of design tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) with expert-level proficiency.
  • Experience in leading design projects from concept to completion, including collaborating with marketing, branding, and content teams to deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex and high-priority design tasks with minimal guidance, making independent decisions while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • A strong understanding of design principles (color theory, typography, composition, etc.) and how they apply across various media formats.
  • Experience with technical design aspects, including preparing files for production, managing file formats, and ensuring designs are production-ready for both digital and print platforms.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. However, preference may be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, which provides a solid foundation in design theory, tools, and techniques.
  • Formal education in graphic design, art, or multimedia, coupled with technical certifications or licenses related to the design industry, will be highly valued.
  • Technical experience in the design field is crucial, including expertise in both traditional design and modern digital media, along with a comprehensive understanding of user experience (UX) design and web design.
  • Familiarity with coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS) or web development tools may be required for certain digital design tasks.
  • Certain design licenses or certifications, such as those in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert), may be required or preferred depending on the specific demands of the role.
  • Minimal supervision and oversight is required, as this role requires a high level of self-direction and accountability.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and make design decisions without the need for constant guidance or approval from senior leadership.
