GENERAL FUNCTION

Assist with development and execution of all Assignment operational reporting, including routine Business Objects database queries relative to Assignment managed sales and Key Account activity. Perform analysis of results versus plans and expectations, update projections of future Assignment activity, and make recommendations to the Director Key Accounts & Business Analytics based on findings.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Prepare and analyze weekly results to be shared with Assignment Senior Leadership including dashboards and other operational reports as assigned that are used to manage the Assignment business
  • Support planning and forecasting processes for Assignment operations, including detailed analysis around Assignment Sales as well as Department Cost
  • Review and analyze monthly results to help provide perspective on variances and recommendations to incorporate trends into future forecasts
  • Prepare analysis around new/termed Assignment plans/payers, including reporting on lens mix and discount rate results versus pro-forma expectations
  • Support Key Account Managers with routine and ad hoc reporting needs for evaluating Carrier performance verse expectations
  • Provide support throughout the Assignment organization as a financial partner and liaison
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage escalated issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure compliance with company and department policies


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written, required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Performance oriented and self-motivated
  • Make sound business decisions and understands and adheres to a high level of confidentiality and integrity


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Knowledge of vision and / or insurance benefits
  • Understands third party benefits and administration
  • Knowledgeable in continuous improvement methods
  • Working knowledge of Business Objects

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
