Job Summary: Belden, a global leader in industrial networking and automation solutions, is seeking a driven and strategic Solution Sales Manager (SSM) to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on developing and expanding relationships within key accounts in the Material Handling (MH) vertical, with an emphasis on System Integrators (SIs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and end users. Your primary responsibility will be to protect and grow existing business while identifying new opportunitiesto capture market share. - Build and strengthen relationships within a defined portfolio of key accounts, understanding their business objectives and positioning Belden as their go-to partner for industrial networking solutions.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell while driving growth by capturing market share and winning new projects within existing accounts.
- Partner with technical experts, solution consultants, and channel teams to provide tailored, scalable solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
- Drive revenue growth through direct customer engagement by identifying opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and expanding Belden's footprint
- Leverage tools like Salesforce, MEDDICC, and Account Plans to qualify opportunities, track progress, and close deals efficiently, ensuring data-driven sales forecasts.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities within the MH vertical to offer strategic guidance and anticipate customer needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for your customers within Belden, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while addressing challenges and aligning with their long-term goals.
- Collaborate across teams and functions, including marketing, channel, and operations, to align resources and accelerate time to close.
- Work with leadership to develop and execute a long-term growth strategy for your accounts, focusing on driving recurring revenue and building a sustainable business model.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in account management or sales within the Material Handling, Automation, or Industrial Networking industries.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into customer value.
- Strong understanding of customer buying processes, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build consensus among stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving and growing industry
