Nature and Scope

The HRIS Reporting Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and delivering data insights to support informed decision-making within the organization. This role involves working with multiple data sources (including Workday), transforming data into actionable insights, and presenting findings in a clear and understandable format.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administration of ARI's core HRIS (currently Workday) with a strong focus on reporting and analytics.
  • Reporting and analytics responsibilities include:
    • Acting as the primary analyst supporting reporting and analytics within the HR Department.
    • Maintaining, developing and enhancing current and new custom reports, worklets and dashboards.
    • Developing and delivering timely ad hoc reports and data analysis as requested.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to better identify and understand reporting needs.
    • Using knowledge of HR data and processes to suggest new reports that will help drive business decisions.
    • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and validation of reports.
    • Leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning tools (where applicable) to further analyze HR data and generate predictive insights.
    • Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for reporting capabilities and assisting users in leveraging the system to meet business needs.
    • Providing support for end-users, answering questions, and resolving issues related to Workday reporting.
    • Proactively staying updated on industry trends and best practices in HR technology and analytics and recommending innovative solutions to enhance HR processes.

Education Requirements and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Ability to maintain integrity, confidentiality, and discretion at all times
  • 3+ years of experience working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday, with a focus on reporting
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends in data and provide insight into results
  • Experience in Workday reporting tools such as Workday Report Writer (advanced, matrix, and composite) and Workday's calculated fields preferred
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data structures, and HR metrics
  • Advanced Excel and data modeling skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within teams required
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels

Expected Salary Range:

$72,000- $85,000

The salary range, displayed is the minimum and maximum annual salary

range of compensation for the role that the employer in good faith believes to be accurate at the time of the posting of an advertisement for the role. Actual compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, knowledge, skills and experience.
