Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our integration business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Inventory Control:

    • Stock Shelves, provide material counts, replenish inventory, distribute parts and material. Record material transactions using company inventory software, charge material to tickets, jobs and transfer inventory between warehouses. Handles return to stock from jobs
    • Responsible for monitoring, tracking and maintaining inventory levels. Ensure appropriate stock of PPE and company clothing as needed
    • Document and maintain records of all tools, PPE and clothing issued to employees
    • Perform regular cycle counts of onsite material and parts to ensure accuracy of inventory levels. Ensure any on-hand discrepancies are thoroughly researched
    • Assists Business Operations Manager in annual physical inventory activities
    • Quarterly, Monthly and ad hoc discussion with Operations to verify stock levels and consumables list
    • Coordinate request for procurement


  • Picking / Packing:

    • Reads customer orders, work orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
    • Ensures part(s) are pulled accurately from warehouse stock based on Job Journal and executed properly in Business Central
    • Ensures part(s) pulled from warehouse stock are carefully packed for Technician/PM pick-up with accurate labeling of box(es)
    • Answer phones and fill orders and material requests
    • Picking and staging project related material for pickup and distribution
    • Packaging and shipping orders, repairs, RMA's


  • Shipping / Receiving / Delivery:

    • Handle outbound shipping/freight, coordinate freight pick-ups, process shipments through multiple carriers
    • Processes in-bound receiving of materials for projects (jobs and work orders); receiving (check material), processing, labeling, match purchase orders to sales orders, and storing of incoming material orders. Process and return any defective material for repair, replacement or credit
    • Schedule deliveries to jobsites, subcontractors, warehouses
    • Operate company vehicles to pick up and deliver material and parts
    • Enters data into the UPS Worldship computer, maintain UPS data standards
    • Address any shipping discrepancies with the Vendor
    • Ensuring accurate safety marking on packages


  • Warehouse Maintenance & Operations:

    • Ensures the warehouse is accessible, organized, safe, and clean for salespeople and customer traffic (floors are kept clean, clear of clutter, trash removal, e-waste is picked up, etc.)
    • Facilitates RMAs back to vendor for credit whenever possible, partner with Accounts Payable for proper credits from vendor
    • Execute and implement special projects and newly created policy and procedures
    • Maintain detailed and accurate records


  • Other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:



  • 1+ years' experience as a stockroom worker, warehouse, or inventory
  • 1+ years' experience with warehouse computer systems
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical as needed
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Certification (may vary by location)
  • Familiar with warehouse operations, inventory control, safety protocols
  • Experience with inventory control and stock management software programs
  • Adherence to safety protocols and willingness to wear and properly utilize personal protective equipment as necessary
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience in customer service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2+ years' experience in customer service
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Previous experience driving box trucks and large vans
