Manufacturing Engineer
Overview As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be providing engineering support for assigned operations department(s). You will document and standardize processes to improve throughput and quality. Disposition non-conforming product and take steps to prevent recurrence. Perform timestudies and find cost justifiable ways to eliminate waste in production processes with the overall goal of reducing cost. Participate in and/or lead projects that can include plant layout, ergonomic analysis, capital equipment justification / purchase, and/or safety improvement. Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as deemed necessary.
Generate process documentation (standard work) at production launch. Maintain existing documentation.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Mechanical from a four-year college or university and 1-5 years related experience and/or training in principles of engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in a metal fabrication environment. |
