The I&E Field Commissioning Inspector is key to our electrical, instrumentation, and controls commissioning in our field jobsites. This role oversees our commissioning performance, while being the point of contact for all commissioning activities. Our Team Our field construction crews are dynamic high performing teams who champion our safety culture while maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship between OPD and our customers. What You Will Do * Steward for OPD safety culture and leadership. * Ensure commissioning activities are consistent with OPD procedures and adhere to quality, safety, and schedule expectations. * Co-ordinate with the Site safety to maintain, support and when necessary, enforce OPD's safety policies and procedures, including LOTO with the I&E Subcontractor and other I&E vendors. * Assist in determining I&E Contractors staffing requirements and confirm they are adequate for projects schedule * Monitor and report the commissioning progress via OPD loop list. * Ensure all documentation and procedures pertaining to field checkout and startup are complete and accurate * Assist with trouble shooting loops as needed * Walk down (spot check) the orange tagged loops before turning over to client inspection * Monitor progress and movement for all loop folders * Ensure commissioning schedule and system completion dates are being followed. * Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with specifications, codes, and best engineering practices throughout commissioning. * Liaise between field document control to ensure all required redlines on documentation has been acquired for the issuance of job books. * Willing to travel to other locations for bid-walks or walk-downs as needed. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience as main point of contact for I&E commissioning * Progressive career experience working as instrument technician * Experience in management or supervisor roles What Will Put You Ahead * State Licensed Electrician * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field * NCCER certified Industrial electrician At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
