The Role:

We are looking for a QC Lab Analyst to join our Quality team. The QC Lab Analyst will report to the Quality Control Supervisor at the Keokuk manufacturing plant and will provide laboratory work coverage on a rotating swing-shift schedule to support the 24/7 RAI Mini-Plant operations.

The QC Lab Analyst works collaboratively with internal and external constituents, including Quality Assurance, Mini-Plants, Customer Care, Shipping and external vendors.

This position is located in Keokuk, Iowa.

Compensation:

The current hourly rate for this role is estimated to be $25.00-$28.00. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • Performs quality control tests utilizing standard lab equipment (e.g. spectrophotometer, HPLC,pH meter) to evaluate and report on the quality of products manufactured with defined specifications.
  • Reads, understands and follows laboratory standard operating procedures, using ability to perform qualitative and quantitative assays.
  • Manages, coordinates and executes tasks
  • Analytical instrumentation calibration
  • Wet-chemistry and instrumental analysis of in-process and final products
  • Execution of validation studies
  • Tactical management of retained samples based on established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

What You'll Need:

  • AS or BS Degree - Chemistry/Biology/ or related field preferred; or relevant experience
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Technical background preferred
  • Multitasker
  • Demonstrated computer skills
  • Strong problem solving, innovative and analytical skills
