Risk & Compliance Analyst

To support this innovation and growth, in an ever-increasing risk environment, we are seeking a Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team in ensuring regulatory compliance.

As the Risk and Compliance Analyst, you will support the risk teams, and work with business lines and project teams to develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. You will be responsible for effectively collaborating with all levels of management, as part of this role includes serving as the secretary for certain risk committees. In this role you will possess knowledge of banking requirements including BSA, CRA, complaints, fraud, vendor management, and adoption of the "lines of defense" model. As an organization focused on innovation the analyst will also support the implementation of new technology with a risk mindset, which includes ensuring that bank's activities are appropriately vetted and approved by the Risk team.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. This position requires a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, including at least one year focused on compliance or operational risk. Preferred candidates will have over three years of project management experience. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of risk management strategies within the financial industry. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations, project plans, and related documents, as well as bank policies and procedures, is essential. Strong communication, collaboration, critical observation, problem-solving, are required for this role. The ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy is a must.

This position can be performed hybrid within our Upper Valley service areas.
