What You'll Do:

As a Marketing Proposal Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping DLZ's business development efforts. You'll be responsible for crafting compelling proposals that highlight our expertise and innovation, supporting the team through all stages of the proposal process.

  • Proposal Management: Assist in the preparation of RFPs and RFQs, ensuring that all responses are complete, compelling, and aligned with client needs.
  • Content Development: Collaborate in the creation of high-quality proposal materials, including non-technical sections, project narratives, and custom graphics (charts, maps, and infographics).
  • Proposal Coordination: Track proposal progress, ensuring timely completion, while managing interactions with Proposal Managers and Project Managers.
  • Client Engagement: Contribute to presentation materials for client interviews, ensuring our firm's capabilities are showcased in the best light.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the final stages of proposal preparation, including editing, proofreading, and ensuring all materials meet the highest standards of quality.
  • CRM & Database Management: Utilize and help maintain DLZ's CRM to streamline proposal efforts and track proposal history.
  • Process Improvement: Support the development of a cohesive proposal process and contribute to the maintenance of boilerplate content.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for marketing and a talent for writing and design, we want to hear from you!

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in proposal development and preparation with a background in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
    • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
    • Familiarity with Standard Forms 330 is a plus.
    • Excellent written communication and editing skills.
    • A strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
