Position Summary

Zurn - Caddo Mills, TX, needs an experienced Welder to join our team. We're looking for a hardworking professional who enjoys meeting challenges and surpassing customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment. We're looking for a long-term candidate who is looking for a secure and rewarding form of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Weld, fabricate and finish projects according to customer specifications.
  • Interpret and read engineering drawings, blue prints, and shop orders to trim, weld and assemble products
  • Operate welding and fabricating equipment including but not limited to *TIG*, MIG, Plasma, Heliarc, Electric and Acetylene welding technologies while affixing metal material.
  • Cut and journal rods, knock down chain, perform set-up and operate various metal working pieces of equipment such as drills, drill presses, shears, brakes, saws, Yoder, etc.
  • Move materials and assemble components.
  • Check all work for Quality
  • Performs other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job.

Experience and Skill Required

  • Minimum 5 years of welding experience
  • Ability to follow standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks
