ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Kura Oncology is seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistantto support our Sales Leadership team and collaborate with Marketing Operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar support role, preferably within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, and be adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in facilitating communication, organizing events, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the sales function.

Support for Sales Leadership:



  • Provide calendar, travel, and meeting support for Sales Leadership (V.P. and Regional Business Directors).
  • Manage and submit expense reports for the Sales V.P.
  • Assist with basic presentation support, including creating and editing slide decks.
  • Coordinate internal team meetings (regional and national) to ensure smooth logistics and execution.
  • Coordinate local and regional medical congresses, including application for event, coordination of attendance and associated budget
  • Organize and manage sales team awards and recognition initiatives.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal sales communications, ensuring timely dissemination of information about upcoming events, recognition programs, internal training, etc.


Marketing Operations Liaison:



  • Collaborate with Marketing & Medical Operations and other cross-functional operations teams to ensure alignment and consistency in communication and execution.
  • Support Point of Action (POA) and Sales meetings, working closely with the Marketing Operations team to ensure seamless planning and delivery of events.



JOB SPECIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of experience and training.
  • Minimally 3-5 years of experience supporting Senior level management, particularly in Sales and Marketing roles within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to work across time zones and adapt to flexible work schedules, especially with a V.P. of Sales based in the western time zone.
  • Proficient with basic computer skills, including typing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Concur, WebEx/MS Teams, SharePoint, and Office 365. Experience with CRM tools is a plus
  • Experience with event coordination is highly desired.
  • Project management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment regarding highly sensitive and external communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar.
  • Must have the ability to coordinate with key external stakeholders, including KOLs, speakers for Sales and Marketing, as well as other externally facing commercial events
  • Ability to work well with diverse personalities and maintain a collaborative approach to team efforts.
  • Excellent professionalism and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Must have a positive "can-do" attitude, demonstrate excellent judgment, and be capable of working independently.
  • Flexibility to accommodate rapidly changing priorities and deadlines is a must.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for executive support.


The base range for this role is $118,000 - $137,000 per year. Individual pay may vary based on additional factors, including, and without limitation, job-related skills, experience, work location, and relevant education or training. Kura's compensation package also includes generous benefits, equity, and participation in an annual target bonus.

Kura has completed enrollment in a Phase 2 registration-directed trial of ziftomenib in R/R NPM1-mutant AML (KOMET-001). The Company is also conducting a series of clinical trials to evaluate ziftomenib in combination with current standards of care in newly diagnosed and R/R NPM1-mutant and KMT2A-rearranged AML. Tipifarnib, a potent and selective farnesyl transferase inhibitor (FTI), is currently in a Phase 1/2 trial in combination with alpelisib for patients with PIK3CA-dependent head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (KURRENT-HN). Kura is also evaluating KO-2806, a next-generation FTI, in a Phase 1 dose-escalation trial as a monotherapy and in combination with targeted therapies (FIT-001).
