Job Details
1. Work requires a high school level of educational development and at least 24 months of experience in a nurse associate or PCT role. This experience must be at Bayview, as this is an internal promotional opportunity only. 2. Requires certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or higher nursing license. BLS certification provided by AHA, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network. All credentials must be maintained with active status. 3. Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situation in which the information or problems are relatively routine. 4. Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain medical center polices, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or medical center employees. More sensitive situation may be referred to others as appropriate. Responsible for functioning as a technical assistant and practice partner with the registered nurse. Carries out plans formulated by licensed or certified professional staff under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Performs moderately complex patient care duties under supervision of licensed nurse. Also responsible for attending nursing station performing reception and administrative duties, including requisitioning supplies, equipment and services as directed. Acts as a mentor to other Clinical Associates. Salary Range: Minimum 20.49 per hour - Maximum 31.76 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
