Supports Manufacturing engineering department on the following activities:

  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and validating manufacturing methods and equipment

  • Assures product and process quality by designing inspection/testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.

  • Supports new product development and helps ensure a smooth transition into production

  • Development and Implement Manufacturing process job Instruction (SOP)

  • Provide Engineering support to Operation to meet delivery, quality and cost targets.

  • Optimize the manufacturing methods (Continuous improvements).

  • Root cause analysis of any Manufacturing Problem to find and establish the best solution to meet with Time, Cost and safety.

  • Qualification and validation of all new operations and processes including DOEs, validation protocol writing, execution, data analysis and executive summary reports

  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

12-week summer experience

Work schedule: 4x10: Monday- Thursday

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering

  • Understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD software

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes such as Wire cutting, Crimping, Adhesive application, and Electronic assembly processes

Cubic Pay Range:

$27-34/hr.* + benefits.

*Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
