As a systems engineer on our team, you'll develop, and maintain enterprise-level models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related system engineering documents using UML and or SysML modeling languages. This is your chance to develop your skills in Model-Based System Engineering while gaining mentoring experience in providing system engineering and technical assistance to Engineering staff by developing engineering guidance procedures, engineering manuals, acquisition program engineering documentation templates, integration processes, and standards. You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in Model-Based System Engineering

  • Experience in enterprise architecture modeling using common frameworks, including DoDAF, MODAF, or TOGAF

  • Experience with the System Engineering process

  • Knowledge of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML)

  • Ability to model new or existing systems using System Architect

  • Ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of systems engineering and integration activities

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with modeling new or existing systems using a SysML modeling tool

  • Knowledge of how each of the SysML diagram types is used to convey the requirements, structure, and behavior of a system

  • Ability to provide system engineering and technical support during the development of enterprise-level models and provide guidance on the translation of the UML to SysML

  • Master's degree in Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
