Cloud Computing Infrastructure Architect

The Opportunity:

DevOps engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. We're looking for a DevOps engineer like you to help develop critical tools-and get them into the hands of those who need them most.

As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you'll help streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best-create.

You'll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in IT systems development
  • 4+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments using tools, including Jenkins, or Harness CI/CD
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code, including Cloud Formation, Terraform, and Ansible
  • Experience with containers, including Docker, and container orchestration, including Kubernetes
  • Experience with delivering DevSecOps solutions in cloud-based environment, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with developing enterprise could-native solutions
  • Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
  • Experience with leading teams of DevSecOps Engineers and Platform Engineers
  • Experience with site reliability engineering-related skills, including working with an observability stack
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Certification, AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification, Google Cloud Architect Certification, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
