You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT, including overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web, and virtual or physical hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance

  • 3+ years of experience in support of systems engineering or systems administration within an enterprise hosting environment in the cloud in support of multiple interconnected systems and enterprise-managed services

  • Experience in software architecture and in hosting of applications integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and virtual or physical hardware devices through system specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance support

  • Experience with AWS Solutions Architecting

  • Experience supervising or mentoring less experienced personnel

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • CompTIA Secruity+ Certification, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner Certification, or Certified Information System Security Professional Certification

  • Microsoft role-based Certifications, Red Hat Certification, Cisco Certified Network Professional, AWS Architect, or Certified Scrum Developer Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerization

  • Experience with IaC

  • Experience Migrating On-Premise applications to the cloud

  • Experience with DoD or Navy Systems to include STIGs and other compliance requirements

  • Experience with managing a Windows Domain

  • Experience managing RHEL with Configuration Management tools like Puppet

  • Master's degree in Engineering

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
