Workforce Management Brand Analyst - Williams-Sonoma, Inc. We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial person to join Williams-Sonoma Inc's Workforce Management (WFM) team. This position will be responsible for providing staffing, scheduling, payroll, analytical, and business decision support for all retail stores. The primary focus will be driving retail store productivity and profitability through the development of operational and workforce processes, while being a key resource for developing analytics to support our ambitious retail growth initiatives. The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, data-driven and enjoys taking initiative as a contributor in a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial team environment, working across multiple and diverse initiatives and projects concurrently. This position reports into the Director of Workforce Management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with brand partners to develop and execute labor management process
- Support the execution of automated labor scheduling.
- Become a functional expert in our Workforce Management System and identify opportunities for enhanced functionality.
- Create, manage, and continually enhance daily, weekly, and monthly staffing/scheduling/productivity analysis, enabling business partners to action on key business driving indicators.
- Work with various Corporate and Brand leaders to examine current financial and operational processes to identify areas of opportunity.
- Collaborate extensively with key partners throughout the organization to identify and analyze ad hoc business issues, actively influencing retail and brand performance.
- Lead end to end implementation planning to include change management, training and support
- Provide support on system conversions, upgrades and enhancements of WFM suite.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years professional experience performing data analytics that influence business decision making, preferably in workforce management, planning and analysis for an operations function.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative field (finance, economics, business) or equivalent experience.
- Very strong analytical skills - extensive experience with advanced Excel analytic functions.
- Creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills - able to delve into business issues and large amounts of data to form insights and recommendations.
- Relentless attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high quality work.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects with a high degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced setting.
- Results oriented - strong sense of urgency and excellent follow through.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Workforce Management Systems is a plus.
The expected starting pay range for this position is $70,000-90,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
