Supervisor Food Production
Overview Now hiring a Supervisor Food Production. Presbyterian is seeking a Supervisor Food Production to assist Executive Chef and Food Service Director in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of work activities in the Food Production Areas. Emphasis is on-sight recipe compliance; food safety practices good production techniques and final product. Maintain good relationships with peers, and assure a quality product is delivered. Fill in for the Executive Chef or Food Service managers in case of absence. Coordinate resources of the assigned area to achieve quality and customer satisfaction. Help train new production employees on specific job duties and good production techniques. Oversee and ensure all proper food safety guidelines, regulatory guidelines, and department standards. Full Time - Exempt: Yes
Ideal Candidate: One year previous supervisory experiences preferred. Trade or vocational school in any of the following fields preferred: Business, Nutrition or Dietetics, Military dining, or Culinary field. Good analytical skills, problem solving skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Computer skills and math skills are necessary for many job duties. Qualifications High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience. Minimum two years experience in Food Service related field with the aptitude to be cross-trained in several disciplines.
