Here's what you'll do: As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will help ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment in a facility specializing in industrial grade metal processing. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality procedures at all times. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed. Maintaining production machines and all facility equipment Performing unscheduled repairs on production equipment and all facility equipment Performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities on production equipment and making repair recommendations Detecting faulty, improper, and unsafe operating conditions Using hand and power tools, and material handling equipment Collaborating with maintenance and production personnel Complying with safety regulations Maintaining an organized work area and supporting product quality programs Hours: Monday-Friday; 40-50 hours/week. 7:30am start. Email your resume Today to: *kruzickia@acarasolutions.com* Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance Minimum 2 years mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing experience Ability to lift and carry items up to 50lbs as required Preferred Skills / Qualifications: College degree in industrial maintenance, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Welding and fabricating experience preferred Experience with electrical systems preferred Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Experience with a computerized maintenance management system Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment and machinery, and work from lifts, ladders and scaffolding required Ability to operate heavy equipment, tools and supplies; and manipulate heavier loads with team or appropriate equipment required Ability to drive and operate a forklift Experience working in an industrial setting.
