Our People Solutions team is a dynamic team-oriented shared services group that pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our global employees. We meet the needs of our employees through continuously identifying and improving our strategy to deliver operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

What you'll do:

We are looking for a Senior Generalist to work within our global People Solutions team focused on transactional processing and process efficiencies with a focus on excellent customer service delivery.You will be part of the global People Solutions team reporting to the Manager, People Solutions working alongside the region's HR team.

In this role you will:



  • Provide guidance and resolution of day-to-day inquiries through the interpretation and application of policies and procedures and discern matters that should be escalated Centers of Excellence
  • Meet the changing needs of the business and ensure high quality service delivery working within defined SLAs
  • Execute business process transactions including the HRIS (Workday) transactions to meet global and regional business needs
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure the smooth onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Support with payroll administration for the region and maintain knowledge of payroll compliance
  • Actively participate in the creation, documentation, and process improvement with a focus on automation
  • Operate with a high degree of confidentiality and demonstrate respect and due diligence in time sensitive situations
  • Maintain knowledge of immigration and compliance requirements in the regional country HR legislation, and employment laws
  • Partner with global teams to support and facilitate mobility, visa needs and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Analyze shared services metrics/KPIs, reporting/adherence to recommend and implement continuous process improvements
  • Consult with key stakeholders and Centers of Excellence to understand business needs, undertake the implementation of programs and support the improvement of processes
  • Deploy initiatives in the local business and contribute to the design of local and (at times), global HR initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted partner in the employee experience by leading and owning the end-to-end resolution of complex inquiries/issues
  • Support with ad-hoc administrative tasks and other projects as needed


Who you are:



  • Well versed in HR business processes, with a strong knowledge of compliance in HR legislation, and employment laws
  • Minimum 5 years in an HR Generalist role; 3 or more years of experience working directly with employees and managers in a global shared services model
  • Strong judgement skills with the ability to independently take appropriate actions within defined HR policies and procedures
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a strong focus on customer service satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams, share responsibility for results, and provide and accept feedback
  • Ability to thrive and deliver in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, and autonomous work environment
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership responsibilities
  • Strong conflict management and resolution skills
  • Consistently sets and achieves high-performance standards.
  • Experience working with HR database such as Workday
  • Experience understanding and developing KPIs and SLAs to enhance the global and regional service delivery
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Aptitude for quickly picking up new skills and adapting to new approaches
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required
  • Tertiary qualification: degree/above (preferably HR) or equivalent practical experience
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Plus: Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow, SmartSheet

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$69,900 $128,200 USD
