Job Summary:
The Department of Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a one year visiting assistant professor position in the field of media and cultural studies beginning in August 2025. The successful candidate will teach 3 classes in both the Fall and Spring semesters. Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be expected to teach three courses in the fall semester and three courses in the spring semester for the Department of Communication Arts. Education: Required Qualifications: - Excellent record of scholarly achievement in media and cultural studies. Areas of focus could include media and identity, media industries, media and identity, technologies, digital production, media audiences, or research into specific cultural forms including but not limited to television, the internet, or social media.
