Summary This is a position for which a candidate must have considerable and demonstrable capabilities and experience. The primary focus of this position is on complex business, procurement, and construction transactional matters involving the City and its operations. The applicant should have experience in the vast body of matters that affect Texas municipalities as further illustrated by the descriptions below Salary Range: Based on experience and qualifications Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Minimum Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. This is not, however, an entry-level position. ** The selected applicants must submit multiple (not less than three) illustrative samples of business, procurement, or construction transaction contracts of which the applicant was the sole or primary author for purposes of determining the ability of the applicant to handle matters of the level expected to be assigned to this Senior Assistant City Attorney I. Licenses and Certifications Admitted to practice law in Texas.
