Description

* Follows and promotes the company Safety Policies, constantly keeping his personal safety and the safety of fellow
employees foremost in his activities and ensures that the maintenance and operations work force follows company
safety procedures while performing work in the Production Department. To correct and report violations of safety
policies to the Production Superintendent.
* Participates in and supports the KNA commitment to the "Tenets of Trust" process.
* To understand and accept responsibility for accomplishing daily production goals and carrying out daily orders and
monitors the process operations to verify: Proper and safe plant operations, Environmental compliance, Chlorine Railcar
operation, Raw material receiving including by Railcar, Product CPVC Rail car loading, Production process support.
* Maintain proper records and logs of activities and operating conditions.
* Maintenance and upkeep of the process equipment and operating areas.
* Reporting of mechanical problems to Shift Lead.
* Dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling of process equipment at prescribed intervals to ensure quality production
control.
* Make suggestions for improvement of existing operating procedures.
* Take an active role in housekeeping to ensure that the plant is maintained in a clean and orderly condition (5S).
* Work specified overtime as needed to provide adequate staffing.
* Crosstrain in all operating areas to achieve proficiency in any area assigned.
