Senior Videographer/Editor/Producer

DESCRIPTION

This role supports an internal video team by coordinating end-to-end productions, hands-on filming and editing videos, and project management needs. Emphasis on communication, task management, and project tracking. This role will also collaborate in the creative and storytelling process.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Video project management; monitor ongoing projects, track progress, intake requests, milestones, tasks, and weekly reporting.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on video production planning, coordination/logistics, feedback cycles.
  • Hands-on video work, primarily filming and editing, but including some color work, audio mixing, lighting, writing.
  • Follow strict creative direction, stakeholder feedback, brand guidelines, safety requirements, and legal restrictions.
  • Quickly edit videos for same-day deadlines, often creating short videos within hours.
  • Ability to condense a long form interview and footage capture into compelling stories that will drive employee engagement and views
  • Content creation for social outputs, including shooting vertically, editing on platform.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with clients and interview subjects on set and handle smaller one person band style shoots when needed.

REQUIREMENTS



  • Portfolio or social channel with video work demonstrating shooting and editing.
  • 3-5 years' experience as a videographer/editor or producer.
  • Hybrid role on-site a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Travel required (<20%)
  • Lift 50lbs
  • Sustained standing environments

Detroit Salary range: $69,000 - $90,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
